It is so refreshing to see there are restaurants out there that still cook with passion and care and put out excellent food and drink! If you are looking for a great night out in a cozy, intimate setting you need to give this place a try. I started with a cocktail. An old standard called a Rusty Nail and Corey absolutely "nailed" it! I see other reviewers giving him accolades and it's well deserved. Next up was the French Onion Soup which was superb! Gorgeous broth covered in bubbly cheese. What's not to love? I had a stuffed Sole and Scallop special which was excellent and my wife had the Chicken Diego which was basically Chicken Marsala with addition of Eggplant and Prosciutto in layers which was phenomenal! All in all it was an excellent meal! My only criticism was the young lady that came to take plates while we were still eating. We didn't complain because we didn't want to get this sweet girl into any trouble but hopefully management takes note and trains accordingly. Times are tight and things are super expensive right now so you don't want to waste your hard earned money and spend it on another disappointing restaurant. Rest assured this place is money well spent!
The ambience in this restaurant is always friendly, inviting and quiet. Corey one of the bartenders is always efficient and friendly. My Nana comes here every two weeks and always states how satisfied she is with the service. Of course I come with her when I visit. This time I got the chicken marsala with gluten-free pasta and it was top tier so delicious will be ordering again, I typically get the shrimp fra Diavolo that is something you must try! I have tried their fried mozzarella and this was a nice app to start with. Their coffee was good, I ordered it black with honey syrup.
The food was excellent , and the seating wasn't good near the door every time the outside door open the table shurk,probably won't of put a table there
Zuppa is an excellent Italian cuisine experience in little ol' Wolcott, CT. The service and food is excellent. I recommend the Bolognese, but you really can't go wrong. Corey at the bar is a true mixologist and makes unique cocktails. No matter your preference, he'll make you something you've never tried and you' ll love it. I would strongly recommend it.
Service was excellent . Food is excellent . It is Unique ,not your average cookie cutter meals ,the quality ,thought in the meals is obvious . Good atmosphere people are nice.
